What We Offer:
We specialize in back country fishing charters and eco-tours including land tours and
shelling excursions in the beautiful Ten Thousand Islands in Naples, Florida. We cater
to women who enjoy fishing or would like to learn, and those who have a desire to
experience a day safari in the islands of the Everglades. We can provide an airboat ride upon request. All of our tours can be customized to your liking
where you can enjoy a variety of activities during your half day or full day charter.
About the Captains:
Captain Kim Mimides, the company owner,
possesses a 25 ton Master Captain's
license and has been running boats in the
Everglades National Park and Ten
Thousand Islands for years.Captain Kim
is a specialist on both the fragile eco
system of the Everglades as well as the
local marine and bird life of the area.
Captain Mary holds a "six pack" captain's license and has a knack for finding fish! Captain Mary is a passionate angler possessing over 35 years of extensive experience in both back country and offshore fishing. When fishing with Captain Mary, you will be exposed to a variety of successful techniques including casting and retrieving, drift fishing, bottom fishing and sight fishing. Additionally, if requested, Mary will enthusiastically provide a fishing lesson and some simple tips for those who are interested in learning more about fishing in the Ten Thousand Islands and surrounding areas.

Lodging:
Port of the Islands provides both a full service Marina and Hotel right on the property
should you choose to stay overnight in the area or if you would enjoy the luxury of a
two day excursion. The Hotel boasts a large pool, restaurant, and lounge for your enjoyment after a full day on the water. Special rates are available for our customers. |
